Career Ready Lancaster! supports industry workforce development initiatives like the Lancaster-Berks Construction Connection, or LBCC. LBCC exists to stabilize and strengthen the construction industry in the region. The Lancaster-Berks Construction Connection launched in 2019 with the support of the Lancaster Workforce Development Board.
It is comprised of industry professionals volunteering their time to ensure a bright future for the construction industry. Working regionally, the Next Gen partnership can leverage the influence of businesses in a two-county region, sharing best practices, strategic initiatives, and action plans. The Lancaster-Berks Construction Connection is looking to grow its sphere of influence by expanding its volunteer base, believing that when like-minded people connect, creative solutions to industry challenges can be found and maybe old solutions resurrected in new ways through action.
