Youth Conference

Registration will open in July for the 2026 Youth Conference for students grades 10-12 from all over Lancaster County!~ This  year’s theme of Explore Your Future brings in John Beede- Everest Mountaineer- to talk about Grit, Goal Setting, and a Strong Mentality.

His presentations combine unforgettable adventure stories with practical takeaways that drive lasting personal and professional growth.

John has climbed the tallest mountains on every continent, including Mount Everest. He’s been struck by lightning, swum with great white sharks, and survived avalanches, tornadoes, and even a hurricane—where he danced the hokey pokey in the eye of the storm. These aren’t just extreme stories. They’re powerful metaphors that teach grit, resilience, and follow-through in a way that sticks.

Students will also have the opportunity to engage in sessions covering resumes, the future, professional skills, and a hands on industry fair. This event is free to all students.
